Looking to workout with a smile on your face?  You found it.  Melissa is Passionate about sharing her knowledge about fitness with others in a fun and enthusiastic way.  She began her fitness journey when she fell in love with Step Aerobics Class at age 20.  After many years of being a student she wanted to learn more, so she attended Zumba B1 Instructor Training in 2010.  It was a perfect fit: dance, crazy energy, stupid fun, and adrenaline all in one little package.   She was hooked and has been teaching Group Fitness Classes ever since.

Fitness is not about being better than someone else…it’s about being better than you used to be.

Darlene Bruce

Teaching classes has always been something I’ve enjoyed.  I taught various classes at Kline’s for a lot of years.    I took up teaching stretch classes at Core Connection after a lot of years of running.  I enjoy teaching stretch classes because I want to help people get fit physically & mentally and to stay fit. I also want to keep exercising myself and because as we get older it’s one of the best things that we can do for ourselves. Stretching and relaxing to nice music is a wonderful activity to do for our bodies!

JoDee Eatmon

JoDee has been teaching Yoga and Dance to children and adults of all ages for 30 years.  She studied Yoga at Expanding Light Ashram in Nevada City, Sivananda Yoga Farm in Grass Valley, Vinyasa Flow with Sean Corn and Trance Dance with Shiva Rea at Yoga Journal Conferences in San Francisco.  JoDee is certified in PiYo, (Integrated Pilates and Yoga).

I consider Zumba the best medicine for anything that ails you. Teaching Zumba is the most fun one can have while getting a great workout. It is impossible not to smile while doing Zumba. My love for music is what drew me to Zumba. I have been taking Zumba classes for about 6 years and teaching for almost 5. I fell in love before my first class was over. Since then I have studied with the best of the best and learned so much.  I enjoy sharing great moves and music with my students. Come join me!!!

Margaret Gleason

Hi!  I’m Miss Margaret, the just-retired secretary of the only school in our little town.  I’ve been an exerciser/dancer most of my life.  My background is ballet, strict, strict ballet.  I LOVED Jazzercize in the Bay Area!  I also loved aerobics (yes, we were Jane Fonda  wannabees here).  Oh, those outfits!  Then we moved to step class and kickboxing.  Finally, we’ve arrived at the best of all, ZUMBA!  It was what I was waiting for, even though I didn’t know it!  My staid ballet self threw discipline aside in favor of hips shaking, with joy.

Come and dance with us.  We’re all about fun.  Fun that builds muscle, helps our balance, improves our cardiovascular system and keeps us STRONG!  No experience needed.  Anyone can do it.

I’m retired and ready to play.  Let’s dance!  Margaret, jumping, stepping, kicking, grape vining and dancing on this spring floor since 1988

Tina has 10 years of experience as a group fitness instructor.  She has taught an array of different classes including water aerobics and floor aerobics.  Tina has a caring heart and enjoys helping people reach their full potential.  She runs a solid paced but not jumpy class that is great for all fitness levels.
